Karel Eloot is a Senior Partner with McKinsey’s Shanghai office where he co-leads the Asia Operations Practice and IoT Venture. He joined McKinsey in 1997, working in the Benelux office before transferring to China in 2006. Earlier in his career, he worked as a steel researcher in Belgium, Germany, the U.S. and Japan, authoring papers for international journals such as ISIJ International (the journal of the Iron and Steel Institute of Japan), Journal de Physique, and the Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials.
