A.I. is growing up: can humans outperform machines?
Executive dinner
During the Executive dinner we exclusively invite our Executive members to join in this event and hot' topics within their industry. In 2018's first edition Karel Eloot, Senior Partner at McKinsey, and Robin Young, Founder/Chief Executive Officer at Seedlink, will discuss the latest developments involving Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) and more important, how this relates to humans.
McKinsey’s senior partner, Karel Eloot, will talk about how A.I. is successfully applied today in several industries in China. He will go deeper into what enables successful implementation: engaging the right talent, ensuring the right capability building, and fostering the right collaboration between functions. He will also cover the main limitations of A.I. technologies and some emerging ways to overcome those.
Seedlink’s founder and CEO, Robin Young, will explain more on today’s A.I. scene. What are individual strengths of both people and machines? Where most fears for technological disruption are to be found in the idea of machines overtaking humans, Robin likes to pose the question differently: ‘can humans outperform machines?’
The speakers will engage our participants in discussions regarding larger themes including heuristics and biases, and past and future innovation. Join us for what promises to be an event involving unique insights into this fascinating technology.
