Holding a Master's Degree in Physiotherapy of the Leuven University in Belgium, Karel first joined Pfizer's Sales and Marketing Division in 1987. In 2001, Karel changed his career trajectory and joined Pfizer Canada to lead the Neuroscience Marketing teams. His career elevated as he entered the international scene in 2006 as the European Brand Team Leader and later Vice-President of Marketing. Beginning 2012, he took upon the Country and General Manager position for Belgium and Luxembourg. As from last year, Karel is President of the Pharma Board and member of AMCHAM board, the LAWG and the Health, Science and Technology Group.
