Alexandre MOREAU
China President at UCB ChinaAlexandre Moreau has been the UCB China Country President since April 2022, overseeing the company’s strategy and operations in China, the world’s second-largest healthcare market. He is also part of the UCB International Markets leadership team.
Previously, from 2018 to 2022, he served as UCB’s Corporate Vice President, leading the Global Epilepsy Unit and Global Strategy for Osteoporosis, contributing to UCB’s strategic roadmap and acquisitions of Engage Therapeutics and Zogenix. With 35 years of multinational leadership experience, Alexandre has worked at top pharmaceutical companies, including Roche-Genentech, Sanofi, Novartis, Novo Nordisk, Bayer, and AstraZeneca. He is also an entrepreneur, co-founding Axxelis AG, a Swiss management consulting firm, and holding leadership roles in biotech as CEO and board member.
Passionate about patient care and fostering inclusive workplaces, Alexandre emphasizes a people-first leadership approach. He holds a Doctorate in Pharmaceutical and Biological Sciences from René Descartes University, an MBA from La Sorbonne, and graduated from the INSEAD AMP and Harvard Business School GMP executive programs.

Philippe Snel
Managing-Director and Founder of DaWo Law FirmPhilippe Snel is founder and managing director of DaWo Law Firm and started his China practice in 2001. He has been a member of the Brussels Bar (Nederlandse Orde der Advocaten Brussels) since 1997.
Philippe has assisted numerous foreign investors to establish, develop and operate their businesses on the Chinese market. He mainly advises in the fields of corporate law, compliance and technology transfer.
Additionally, Philippe teaches Intellectual Property & Technology Law at the Shanghai Normal University (Finance & Business School) and is active in several professional and educational organizations such as the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai (BenCham), the Lycée Français de Shanghai (LFS) and Sinnolabs, a business accelerator for European technology companies in China. He is fluent in Dutch, French and English and conversational in Mandarin and German.
