Etienne Charlier
Partner at Riverbanks InvestmentsWith more than two decades of business experience and executive positions in China or both MNC and small companies, Etienne has developed a clear understanding of how to be successful in this market.
Etienne is one of the partners in Riverbanks Investments (corporate finance and M&A advisory firm), a founding partner of Sinnolabs (China acceleration program for European companies), and an advisor to EU Sino/Innostation (a coworking space dedicated to Western technology companies in Suzhou). Through these platforms he focuses on assisting companies develop their business between China and Europe. Etienne is also driving several initiatives related to artificial intelligence in China, still in stealth mode. A Belgian national, Etienne holds a Master in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor in Philosophy from UCL, as well as a MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management

Janine also founded the Happiness Association, several networking groups like Girl Gone International in Suzhou, Monday Morning Motivation and still hosts regular international events for InterNations.
