Wanlei SHAO
Partner, Attorney-at-Law at Shaohe Law FirmSHAO Wanlei holds master’s degrees in law both from Nanjing University (China) and Georg-August-University Göttingen (Germany). He was admitted to the PRC bar in 1994 and has practiced as a lawyer ever since. From 2000 to 2006 he worked for a German law firm’s Representative Office in Shanghai. In 2007 he established Shaohe Law Firm and leads the firm as Managing Partner.
Mr. Shao is an experienced lawyer who has negotiated numerous investment projects and is well-versed in the regulatory environment in China. He specializes in capital market law as well as cross-border M&A. He supports many Chinese investors in their investments, M&A and post-merger integration in Germany and other EU countries. He has advised as lead partner more than 10 Chinese enterprises on their IPOs in Prime Standard in German Stock Exchange (Deutsche Börse). He has been working on planning and preparing to support the European companies with operations in China to issue shares and bonds in mainland China as well as in Hong Kong.
