We are happy to announce the next event in the framework of the BeLux Asia Chambers Network: a talk with Koen De Leus, Chief Economist at BNP Paribas Fortis.

Join us for an insightful talk with Koen De Leus, Chief Economist at BNP Paribas Fortis and co-author of the acclaimed book "The New World Economy in 5 Trends" (written together with Philippe Gijsels, Chief Strategist, BNP Paribas Fortis).
During the talk Koen will bridge the core insights of his book with today's shifting economic landscape to provide a real-time roadmap for 2026.
About the speaker
Koen De Leus graduated in Commercial Science from the Saint Aloysius Economics High School (EHSAL). He worked as an analyst for Uitgeversbedrijf Tijd from 1998 till 2006, serving as Chief Economist in the last two weeks. From 2006 to July 2012, Koen served as a Market Strategist at Bolero, the online broker of KBC Securities, before moving over to take up the post of Senior Economist at the parent company KBC in August 2012. Since September 2016 he is Chief Economist at BNP Paribas Fortis.
He is also a guest lecturer in "Behavioral Finance" on the Investment Management programme at EHSAL Management School.
He is regularly invited to radio or television programs on channels such as VRT and Kanaal Z to discuss economic affairs, and is often mentioned in the financial and specialised press.
