Share prices of companies with higher ESG (environmental, social and governance) ratings have outperformed others since the onset of the pandemic, dropping less far and recovering more quickly than the rest of the market. Sustainability" is no longer a strange world for business life but maybe the way to recovery.

Some companies set "sustainable development" department, others modify the entire supply chain to be "more durable". Pandemic proves that more than some planning, sustainability must be a strategy. What "sustainability" means for you? Is it just a trend that you follow? Or is it a necessity which can improve your productivity and efficiency on using resources?

The Benelux Chamber of Commerce Shanghai, with the support of Dutch Consulate Shanghai, therefore would like to invite you in a discussion with two "sustainability" experts: Waste2Wear and GC Insights. The first one has the sustainability commitment deeply rooted in its DNA, while the second drove a lot of research on how sustainability can be a compass for your business.

Waste2Wear was founded by Monique Maissan - winner of Best of BenCham Award personal of the year 2019. Monique is a textile engineer, she uses her knowledge to produce fabrics and textile products from recycled plastic bottles. And her company Waste2Wear makes its objective "producing high-quality garments in a responsible way".

GC Insights focus on Chinese ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) market and provide deep market insights and China ESG data to companies and global investors.
