It seems obvious, but it absolutely isn't: your social security outside the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
By using Overseas Social Security (OSZ), you can work abroad without worrying, regardless of your location in the world. OSZ is a division of the National Social Security Office (RSZ) and is designed to help expats outside the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, and the United Kingdom achieve their international aspirations. In this presentation, we will provide more information about the expat insurance options offered by the Belgian government for Belgian passport holders and residents:
- Pension insurance
- Disability and invalidity insurance (including pregnancy)
- Deferred sickness insurance
In addition, an expat or employer can also take out additional insurance for:
- Medical care
- Work accidents and accidents in private life
