With evolving regulations and increasing compliance requirements in China in 2025, businesses must stay informed to mitigate risks and ensure sustainable growth.

To support our Benelux companies, our members DaWo Law Firm and Grant Thornton are joining forces to co-organize the 2025 Compliance Training Program. Over the coming months, the Benelux Chamber of Commerce, together with other leading international Chambers of Commerce in China, will host three in-depth compliance trainings, delivered by seasoned experts Philippe Snel, Tim Klatte, Catherine Cheng, Audrey Fang, and Terina Nie.

In the first compliance training, Grant Thornton (GT) will provide a comprehensive introduction to compliance and fraud, highlighting the most common fraud types encountered in business activities. Topics will include:

  • Conflict of interest
  • Bribery
  • Expense fraud

Participants will gain insights into how to identify red flags and receive practical mitigation suggestions to reduce fraud risks in their organizations.

On the legal side, DaWo Law Firm will dive into the concept of Commercial Bribery, with real-world examples within the pharmaceutical sector. Through these, DaWo will explain which business activities might fall under commercial bribery and share practical measures companies can take to prevent or mitigate such risks.
