Jiashan, named for its "kind people and good land", in the joint part of Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shanghai, is the geometric center of the Yangtze River Delta. It covers an area of 506 square kilometers and has a population of 410,000 and a permanent population of 570,000. Its per capita GDP has exceeded 147,000 yuan. It is one of the top 100 counties with comprehensive strength in the country and one of the top ten counties with investment potential.
Jiashan undertakes two major national strategies. It is not only the demonstration of science development at county level in China, but also a part of the demonstration area of Eco-Green integration development in the Yangtze River Delta. It will become a new highland of reform and opening-up, ecological value, innovative economy and world-class urban agglomeration of the Yangtze River Delta. As for the second part, Jiashan is becoming the new benchmark of implementing innovative concepts, experimental fields of institutional mechanisms, and leading the development of higher quality integration in the Yangtze River Delta.
In order to further implement the new development concept, the "double demonstration" construction of the development at the county level and Yangtze River Delta Eco-Green Development Integration Demonstration Zone, fully release the unlimited future prospects of Jiashan in the Yangtze River Delta Eco-Green Development Integration Demonstration Zone at home and abroad. Further focus on the development of future industries, promote the high-quality development of the county to a new level, and also creates a strong and precise investment atmosphere, whilst attracting domestic and foreign businessmen to form good bonds.
