The China-Belgium Direct Equity Investment Fund

The Fund was established in 2004 as a result of the initiative of the Chinese and Belgian governments. The Fund's investment capital was raised to 2 billion CNY in November of 2012. The nine shareholders of CBDElF include the Chinese Government, the Belgian Government, Guotai-Haitong Securities, BNP Paribas, as well as five other large Chinese institutional investors. Haitong-Fortis Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd., the fund manager, was established with the Fund, approved by the State Council of China. Currently, it manages five funds with the total AUM of over 10 billion yuan. By supporting the development of Pre-IPO high-tech SMEs in China through equity investment, CBDEIF contributes to the transformation and upgrading of the Chinese economic structure while promoting the economic and trade cooperation between China and Belgium.

Bringing together representatives from Belgium's dynamic business community and select Chinese partners, this informal setting will encourage in-depth discussions and foster future collaborations. Attendance will be limited to ensure a focused and high-quality exchange among key decision-makers, as well as a moment to celebrate 20 years of the CHINA-BELGIUM DIRECT EQUITY INVESTMENT FUND!
