During the CFO lunch we invite our CFOs to share their insights and discuss 'hot' topics within their industry. On this month's edition Ramesh Moosa, Partner at PWC Forensic Services, will share insights and case studies on Fraud and Compliance in China. We will dive into the topic and discuss the different aspects of trends, the recent cases from a CFO point of view, and share first hand experiences in this upcoming field in China.

PwC's 2018 Global Economic Crime & Fraud Survey identified that 63% organizations in Mainland China experienced economic crime in the last 24 months, 59% of all frauds are perpetrated by people inside the organization and 70% believed that they lost an opportunity to a competitor which paid a bribe.

Fraud often causes severe impact to organisations including financial loss, reputation loss, and even exposure of personnel to criminal offences. In a fast growing market like China, the existence of fraud may sometimes be difficult to detect particularly in the face of strong growth and financials.

Join us on Wednesday September 12 to learn more about fraud in China. Ramesh Moosa will share his expertise on the subject and case studies.

The CFO luncheon is only accessible to chief financial officers and comparable positions.

This event is for members only. The ticket price includes a two course lunch menu with one beverage and a cup of coffee/tea.
