Jonathan Xu is the General Manager at the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, where he has spent the past four years helping rebuild and grow the organization following the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. With more than 10 years of professional experience in China, he has developed a strong network across the Benelux-China business community and plays a key role in strengthening ties between companies from Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and stakeholders throughout East China. Jonathan has a multi-cultural background, considering both Belgium and China to be his home.

Fluent in more than five languages, Jonathan works at the intersection of government affairs, corporate engagement, and strategic partnerships, collaborating closely with multinational companies, SMEs, diplomatic missions, and Chinese authorities. He holds an Executive MBA from Vlerick Business School in Brussels, Belgium’s leading business school, and is passionate about fostering international business cooperation and cross-cultural understanding.

Flor Baeyens is a Belgian professional with an academic background in Chinese Studies and Mandarin proficiency at HSK5 level. His strong interest in China, combined with his linguistic and intercultural skills, enables him to effectively support Benelux companies and organizations operating in the Chinese market. As a Project Manager at the Benelux Chamber of Commerce, Flor leads membership engagement initiatives, business events, study trips, and educational programs. He also contributes to the development of the Intern2China platform, helping connect European companies with young international talent. His proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and deep understanding of the Chamber’s operations make him a trusted partner for member companies.
